Bon Iver, grand gagnant des Grammy Awards dimanche passé, sera au Festival de Dour cet été !

Il vient tout juste de remporter les récompenses de meilleure découverte et meilleur artiste alternatif à la plus célèbre cérémonie de la sphère musicale, et ce n'est sans aucun doute que le début d'une longue carrière !

En tout cas, après une performance remarquable et remarquée sur le plateau de "Saturday Night Live", on ne se privera pas d'écouter Holocene en boucle sur nos ordis avant de pouvoir découvrir Bon Iver en concert lors de cette 24ème édition du Festival de Dour !

De l'indie au punk : 7 nouvelles confirmations rock !

Le jeune et non moins talentueux Kurt Vile sera également présent sur la Plaine de la Machine à Feu, accompagné de son groupe The Violators. Après un disque aussi prometteur que le récent Smoke Ring for My Halo (2011), le live ne saurait qu'être grandiose !

Destroyer nous arrivera tout droit de Vancouver pour présenter, à travers leur dernier album Kaputt (2011), un indie rock énigmatique, poétique et déroutant.

Les Néerlandais de The Ex, réputés pour leurs collaborations avec des musiciens de toute l'Afrique, s'associent cette fois au saxophoniste éthiopien Getatchew Mekuria pour nous livrer un étonnant mélange de free jazz et de post punk.

Si votre coeur balance entre folk et punk, vous serez sans doute ravis d'apprendre le retour de The Subways au Festival de Dour, tout autant que la venue des Américains d'Against Me!

Pour quelque chose d'un peu plus hard, c'est le jeune groupe Turbowolf, originaire de Bristol, qu'il faudra aller voir. A moins que vous ne préfériez les Liégeois de The K., lauréats dans la catégorie rock dur au Concours Circuit 2011 !

Op de voorbije Grammy Awards sleepte de groep rond Justin Vernon nog de prijzen voor Best New Artist en Best Alternative Music Album in de wacht. Welverdiend wat ons betreft.

Zijn opmerkelijke/opgemerkte passage in "Saturday Night Live" staat nog op ons netvlies gebrand en in afwachting van zijn komst naar Dour Festival draait Holocene op repeat door onze koptelefoons.

Bon Iver, one of the biggest winners at the Grammy Awards last Sunday, will be at Dour this summer!

He has just taken awards for Best New Artist and Best Alternative Music Album at the most famous ceremony in the music world - this is only the beginning of what is going to be a long and prosperous musical career for Bon Iver.

And after that remarkable, eulogized performance on Saturday Night Live a few days ago, we will surely all be listening to Holocene on repeat on our computers until the man himself finally appears in concert at the 24th Dour Festival.

From indie to punk: 7 new rock names!

The young and talented artist Kurt Vile will also be present at Dour this year, joined by his band The Violators. With songs from the exceptional recent album Smoke Ring For My Halo, his live show promises to be something extremely special.

Destroyer will also be joining us from Canada to show off their enigmatic, poetic and oddball indie rock, as heard on their latest album Kaputt (2011).

Dutch band The Ex, renowned for their collaborations with musicians from all over Africa, will be joining forces with the Ethiopian Getatchew Mekuria to perform a stunning mix of free jazz and post-punk.

And if your tastes swing between folk and punk then you will probably be overjoyed to hear that The Subways will be back at Dour, as will the American group Against Me!.

For something a little harder, we will also have the great new group Turbowolf, hailing from Bristol as well as the Liege band The K., winners of the hard rock category during the battle of the bands competition 'Concours Circuit' in 2011.
